#INKtober Challenge
It turns out that INKtober, a challenge to do an ink drawing every day for the entire month of October, is a thing. And I did not realize this until about a week ago. A regular "Quick on the Uptake" Kate over here. But great news, dear reader! Despite my ignorance, my work for the past month has been heavily, HEAVILY focused on ink. Early on with ink washes...
...continuing with a couple of my concentric circle compositions...
...and finally with a series of distorted ink portraits.
Each portrait is focused on depicting strong emotions with very few lines. These smallish portraits, each 8"x10", will ideally be displayed in a group. Nine of my favorites are above, but by the end of the month there will be approximately 20 drawings in the series.
Happy Inadvertent INKtober, y'all!
